Brandon manages market and product strategy engagements in areas such as target segmentation, marketing operations management, marketing channels research, and customer experience management with OpenView’s portfolio companies. His primary focuses are market and customer segmentation. In the past three years at OpenView, he has also managed lost customer, buyer insight, influencer, marketing channel discovery, and brand awareness research projects for the firm’s portfolio companies, as well as assisted with due diligence for several investment opportunities. Prior to OpenView, Brandon was an Associate in the competition practice at Charles River Associates for over three years, where he focused on merger strategy, merger regulatory review, and antitrust litigation. In that capacity, he worked on several blockbuster mergers in the technology world and helped develop strategies on how to best position mergers for regulatory approval, as well as assist the defense on front page Wall Street Journal antitrust lawsuits in the technology space.
Brandon graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a master’s degree in public policy economics with a concentration in statistical and economic analysis. He also received a bachelor’s degree from Occidental College in Spanish and diplomacy and world affairs, and is a Certified ScrumMaster.
