Kevin Leary designs and develops anything and everything that OpenView does online.

A web design and development fanatic, Kevin enjoys working with visionary entrepreneurs and exciting businesses to create products and initiatives that solve real problems.

Experience

Prior to OpenView, Kevin was a senior UI designer at Fresh Tilled Soil, and a web consultant, crafting interfaces for established companies including Harvard, MIT, Ritz Carlton, Boston Magazine and EnerNOC.

He previously lived in Burlington, Vermont where he worked at Bluehouse Group as a web application developer. At Bluehouse Group he was responsible for the front-end interface development of high-end web applications and e-commerce engines including P.A.T.H., Find & Go Seek and Pompanoosuc Mills.

He’s an avid open-source user and active contributor to the WordPress community, where he has published more than 5 official WordPress plugins. He’s author for Smashing Magazine, where his work has been printed in 2 of their WordPress related books.

Education & skills

Kevin graduated from Champlain College in 2008 with a bachelors degree in Multimedia & Graphics Design, with a side focus on Computer Science.

Beyond the office

Kevin enjoy’s presenting at the Boston WordPress Meetup group, and blogging and tweeting about web design and development. When he’s not working you may find me exploring the backcountry of VT or NH on his skis, golfing or boating.
