Nick Hammerschlag sources, analyzes and executes investments and supports the management teams of OpenView portfolio companies.
Professional Interest
Nick is responsible for the identification and analysis of investment opportunities. He also assists with the monitoring of portfolio companies and deal execution. Nick is interested in investing in all enterprise software companies/technology-enabled services but has a particular interest in education, education technology, security, marketing automation, and vertical SaaS solutions.
Experience
Nick currently serves as a Board Director at Prognosis, a Board Observer at both Instructure and Monetate, and supports OpenView’s investment in Mashery. Prior to OpenView, Nick was an Analyst in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey.
Education
He graduated from Columbia University with an AB in History.
