Ruth’s role is to provide accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting for OpenView.
Prior to joining OpenView, she was the Controller and VP of Finance at Insight Venture Partners where she worked from 2001 to 2007.
Ruth began her career in 1998 as an Auditor and Consultant at Ernst & Young, LLP in the Financial Services Division where she provided assurance and business advisory services for private equity funds, brokerage firms and insurance clients.
Get to Know Ruth
Outside of work, Ruth participates in obstacle course races like Spartan and BattleFrog. She loves reading books and watching TV series about true crime. Ruth also spends timing volunteering with her daughters at Ronald McDonald House and other organizations.
Her dream dinner date is Edgar Cayce, the greatest and most documented psychic in American history. Despite growing up a farm boy with no medical training, he was able to diagnose medical illness and heal thousands of people whom conventional medicine could not help. He predicted events and presented concepts well before their time. Most fascinating, no one, including Harry Houdini, could ever prove him to be a fraud. Ruth is desperate to know how he did it.
