Salima is passionate about recruiting top talent both at the firm and its portfolio companies, as well as designing programs to support employee retention and satisfaction.

Experience

Prior to joining the OpenView team, Salima worked at KPMG within both their HR and Audit functions. Thereafter, she refocused her career solely in HR and joined the recruiting team at Salesforce.com in Toronto where she hired top sales talent across the organization. In her most recent role at Google in London, she was responsible for managing the Employee Referral program for Sales and Marketing across Europe, Middle East, and Africa

Education

Salima graduated with a BA of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada. She also spent a semester studying abroad in Osaka, Japan.  Salima has also obtained a Masters of Science degree in International Employment Relations and Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics in the UK.

Did you know?

Salima has a passion for travelling to exotic places and has ventured to over 20 countries across North and East Africa, South and Central Asia, and the Far East. Next on her list is travelling to somewhere in South America.
