Instructure Inc. was founded in 2008 with the purpose of disrupting the Learning Management System (LMS) market by setting a new, open standard for education technology. We believe that an LMS shouldn’t be a closed system. It should be an easy to use, powerful platform that easily integrates content and communication from everywhere. We believe technology is necessary, but not sufficient to improve education. Technology is only a tool, and a tool is only as good as the skills of the craftsman, but using a great tool sure helps.
Their product, Canvas, is notable for its ease of use, robust feature set, and integration with third party social networking and collaboration tools – integrations that are currently unique in the market. Instructure Canvas is used by dozens of educational institutions across the US, like the Park City School District and the Wharton School of Business, that span K-12 and higher ed.

Her team graciously agreed to share her with us and in a couple of short weeks, Devon identified a great candidate...an "A" candidate...a candidate we would not have otherwise found. I could go on, really I could. Not only did Devon source Rachel (our new ADM) but she also went through the resumes I received from "the regular channels."
