Spredfast Adds Depth to Board of Directors With Silicon Valley and Austin Tech Veterans

Former Cisco CMO Sue Bostrom and Former Silicon Labs President Bill Bock Bring Deep Experience in Tech, Marketing, and Business Management

AUSTIN, TX– Spredfast, the leading independent social marketing software provider, today announced the appointment of two new members to the company’s Board of Directors. Sue Bostrom and Bill Bock bring unparalleled expertise to the company’s leadership team and will bolster its commitment to continuous innovation and growth.

“We couldn’t be more excited for Sue and Bill to join the team,” said Rod Favaron, CEO of Spredfast. “Having been at the forefront of marketing and enterprise technology for many years, they understand our open approach to social, and the value that comes from giving brands the flexibility to integrate with their preferred technologies. As we continue to grow, both Sue and Bill will push us to continue showing value to our customers and partners, and to continue to deliver an exceptional customer experience.”

A seasoned digital leader, Bostrom was previously the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Cisco Systems. She has an extensive background in company positioning, branding, communications, and strategy. Previously, Bostrom served as a director at Marketo, Inc. from before its IPO in 2012 until its acquisition in 2016, and she currently serves on the board of directors of four enterprise technology and healthcare startups, including ServiceNow.

According to Bostrom, “Spredfast is on the cutting-edge of innovation. Their ability to anticipate change in this fast-moving industry while remaining deeply committed to customer success is remarkable. As a former CMO, I look forward to helping Spredfast grow the company and the brand.”

Bill Bock joins the Spredfast Board after more than sixteen years at Austin-based Silicon Labs, where he has served as a Board Director, President, and CFO. He remains a Silicon Labs director, and serves on the board of directors of a number of other private technology companies. Bock was previously CEO of Dazel Corporation, which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard in 2009, and has worked in a variety of business areas including finance, sales, and venture capital.

“I have had the pleasure of working closely with Rod since Spredfast launched, and have seen the remarkable growth he and his team have achieved,” said Bock. “The company’s dedication to innovation is what drives their success, and I look forward to working with a team that knows what it takes to deliver best-in-class software to their customers.”
