Thomas Charlton is a Venture Partner at OpenView. Mr. Charlton is currently the CEO of Shunra Software. Previously, Mr. Charlton was CEO of VoiceGenie Technologies. The company won the "Profit 100" industry award and was acquired by Alcatel. Prior to VoiceGenie, Thomas was President and CEO of TrailBlazer Systems, which was acquired by NuBridges LLC. Prior to this, Thomas was President and CEO of Tidal Software, a systems management vendor specializing in job scheduling. At Tidal, Thomas took over an organization experiencing severe quarterly financial losses. Shortly after becoming CEO, Thomas assembled a new management team and implemented a program that changed product direction, repositioned the company and its products, reduced expenses and returned the company to profitability. Thomas began his management career with US Surgical, where he held a number of executive management positions, ultimately managing one of the firm's business units.
