The Power of Blogs

Few things are as powerful as information.

The right kind of information, it is reasonable to assume then, is even more powerful. Blogs tends to fit into the latter group, especially when the blog is about a specific topic or collection of topics. Through this simple medium, a wealth of information – and more importantly – inspiration can be found and supplied.

Many times in our lives, the perfect idea or solution has come to us through discussion, when we opined on a subject until the answer revealed its glowing self. In this sense, the blog is conversation between the author and the audience. It is a bit formal, and yes, there isn’t much back-and-forth. But the same plateaus can be reached and many of the same answers revealed.

Next time you’re thinking about the potential power of the blog, make sure you’re analyzing it with this perspective.
