Retail Industry Veteran Bob Myers Joins Monetate Strategic Advisory Board
Monetate, a vendor of choice for testing, targeting, and personalization for websites, announced today that retail industry veteran Bob Myers has joined the company’s Strategic Advisory Board.
“We are very excited to gain the invaluable insight and guidance of a multichannel retailer of Bob’s stature,” said David Brussin, Founder and CEO of Monetate (www.monetate.com).
“Few individuals possess Bob’s breadth of experience in retail,” said Brussin, adding “Bob knows retailing, from department store to specialty store, from catalog to broadcast, and of course online.”
Bob Myers spent 15 years in merchandising at JCPenney and more than 8 years at QVC where he became Senior Vice President of QVC.com, Multi-Media Platforms, Broadcast Operations & Technology. In January of this year Myers was appointed CEO of Sheplers Western Wear, a multichannel retailer with 15 destination stores, a four season catalog with national circulation, and a website which serves customers in over 180 countries (www.sheplers.com).
Commenting on his decision to get involved with Monetate, Myers said, “This is one vendor that really understands the challenges faced by multichannel retailers today; Monetate has developed a unique marketing-oriented solution that smooths the path to coordinating content and messaging across all channels.”
Myers added, “When you are trying to deliver the best possible website experience to each and every customer, with a minimum of pain, Monetate is a huge asset to have on your side.”
