Acronis launches global channel program

Disaster recovery and data protection specialist Acronis has announced the launch of its new global partner program, a four-tier program for partners selling the company’s solutions across physical, virtual and cloud environments.

With the new program, all partners will have access to unlimited technical support from the vendor. However, partners will be divided into four separate tiers, covering VARs, resellers, system integrators and service providers. To reach each tier, partners are required to achieve a certain level of revenue and certification accreditations, in return for discounts and more opportunities.

“Channel partners are the key assets to Acronis. We have taken the partner type and size into consideration in creating this program, hoping to provide a new experience to partners that can help them grow and keep up with the evolving market,” says Karl Sice, general manager – Pacific at Acronis.

The new partner program includes a license program that allows resellers to boost customer retention through discounts fro large-volume orders, as well as opportunity-registration incentives, training and certification.
