Acronis Names Tech Industry Veteran Michael Coney as President, General Manager for the Americas

Burlington, MA – Acronis®, Inc. (www.acronis.com), aprovider of affordable, scalable storage management and disaster recoverysoftware,has named storage industry veteran Michael F. Coney as president andgeneral manager for the Americas. Coney will be responsible for all sales,channel, and regional marketing activities in the U.S., Canada, and LatinAmerica regions.

Prior to joining Acronis, Coney served as the senior vice president ofsales for the Internet recruitment site Monster Worldwide and theenterprise disaster recovery software vendor VERITAS Software (now part ofSymantec). He also served as executive vice president of worldwide sales,support and services for database software vendor Ingres Software. Earlierhe held senior sales positions at Sun Microsystems and Intergraph Corp.
