AtTask Delivers Task Management Widget for Apple's iPhone
AtTask, Inc. has released an iPhone widget which enables users to remotely manage tasks and issues assigned to them. The widget dynamically pulls data from @task, the company’s flagship product. With the combination of @task and iPhone, people will have an increased ability to address time-sensitive issues and assignments.
“@task is all about helping companies get work done,” said AtTask’s CEO Scott Johnson, “and part of that is giving users absolute accessibility to their data – however or wherever they desire. The power of the iPhone widget, along with other integration points, is that the average user who is doing the work can easily update tasks and issues from anywhere without the need for any special training. We are pleased to add the iPhone to the list of ways people can access their information. If you give everyone in the company an iPhone and an @task account, you’ll have happy employees with substantially increased productivity – and even happier clients,” Johnson concluded.
The iPhone widget follows other integration releases by AtTask such as Microsoft Outlook and full Web Services availability. These integration points allow users to work normally in environments they are familiar with, but still tap in to the powerful business rules, tracking, projecting, and reporting offered by @task.
@task provides a platform, database, and browser independent solution that can be implemented either on-premise or on-demand. The on-demand offering has a 30 day free trial that also includes one-on-one consulting with a project management professional.
