ExactTarget Edges Out Responsys, BlueHornet for ClickZ Marketing Excellence Award.

On-demand email and one-to-one marketing solutions provider ExactTarget announced today that its Web-based software has been named the best email marketing platform.

Industry website ClickZ bestowed the honor on ExactTarget as part of the publication’s Marketing Excellence Awards, an annual program that recognizes the world’s top technologies and companies for their ability to help marketers develop, implement and evaluate bottom line boosting campaigns.

ExactTarget edged out category finalists Responsys and BlueHornet for the award, marking the fifth accolade the company has scored for its technology in the past month. ExactTarget partner Omniture also took top honors in the award’s analytics platform category.
