Exinda and Avnet Enter into Distribution Agreement

Andover, MA – Exinda, a global provider of next generation traffic shaping and optimization solutions, today announced a distribution agreement with Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT). Under the agreement, Avnet Technology Solutions will distribute Exinda’s products through its value-added reseller community in the BENELUX and help Exinda further its market penetration in the region. Avnet will provide resellers with the educational and marketing support needed to deploy complete WAN optimization solutions based on Exinda’s appliances, which present resellers’ customers with an easy-to-use and cost-effective solution for managing bandwidth and improving application performance.

As a solutions distributor for Exinda, Avnet will provide its channel partners with the following Exinda next generation traffic shaping and optimization products:

• Exinda 2060 – Designed for small branch offices, the 2060 model expands to support up to 20 Mbps worth of traffic and up to 50 users.
• Exinda 4060 – Designed for medium to large branch offices, the 4060 model expands to support up to 155 Mbps worth of traffic and up to 1,000 users. Built upon Exinda’s new 64bit architecture, and featuring a multi queue network interface controller (NIC) combined with a multi threaded operating system (OS); this new model offers scalability and performance at a price that satisfies medium to large branch offices.
• Exinda 6010 – Designed for large branch offices, the 6010 model expands to support up to 500 Mbps worth of traffic and up to 10,000 users.
• Exinda 8060 – Designed for headquarter offices and data centers, the 8060 model expands to support up to 5 Gbps worth of traffic and up to 100,000 users. This appliance has dual power supplies and RAID 10 support. Built upon Exinda’s new 64bit architecture, and featuring a multi queue network interface controller (NIC) combined with a multi threaded operating system (OS); this new model offers scalability and performance at a price that satisfies headquarter offices and data centers.
