Exinda Displays WAN Optmization Appliances at SmartGov Live

Andover, MA – Exinda, a global provider of WAN optimization solutions, today announced that they would be participating in SmartGov Live 2010 taking place June 16 and 17 at the ExCel Centre, London England. SmartGov Live is the first major exhibition and conference aimed at UK-based public sector ICT professionals immediately after the General Election. This will provide delegates with the first chance to find out what challenges and opportunities will arise following the election, and what impact it will have on public sector ICT.

Exinda will be exhibiting at stand J10a and will be featuring the Exinda 6060 the latest member of their next generation x60 WAN optimization appliance family. Designed for medium to headquarter offices and data centers, the 6060 model supports up to 1 Gbps worth of traffic and up to 10,000 users double the number of users supported by the previous generation 6010 platform, meaning customers get more bandwidth support for their investment dollar. When configured with ExOS 5.4 WAN optimization software load (x800 software) the 6060 supports 3x the number of optimised connections of the 6010.

  • London Borough of Redbridge recently upgraded to an Exinda 6060 to enable Application Response Time measurements to better service remote clients
  • Wakefield Metropolitan District Council utilize a variety of Exinda appliances to provide visibility, control and WAN optimization for the council’s Education WAN; and
  • Warrington Borough Council utilize Exinda products to prioritise mission critical applications and limit the use of recreational applications in support of its Flexible Work Strategy program
