Exinda Enhances WAN Optimization Appliance Family

Andover, MA – Exinda, a global provider of WAN optimization solutions, today announced the availability of the 6060 the latest member of their next generation x60 WAN optimization appliance family. Designed for medium to headquarter offices and data centers, the 6060 model supports up to 1 Gbps worth of traffic and up to 10,000 users double the number of users supported by the previous generation 6010 platform, meaning customers get more bandwidth support for their investment dollar. When configured with ExOS 5.4 WAN optimization software load (x800 software) the 6060 supports 3x the number of optimized connections of the 6010.

The London Borough of Redbridge recently upgraded to the new Exinda 6060 appliance. With 1GB throughput and enhanced Application Response Measurement technology, this new solution will help the authority to accurately quantify and report on application response times from a user’s perspective at remote sites, providing even greater visibility and control over network optimisation and application acceleration across the WAN.
