Prognosis Health Information Systems and Order Optimizer Form Strategic Alliance
HOUSTON – Prognosis Health Information Systems, an inpatient CCHIT-certified, web-based enterprise EHR provider, has integrated their closed loop CPOE with Order Optimizer, a provider of evidence based protocols for CPOE.
Unique integration architecture allows the Prognosis ChartAccess platform to receive continuously updated evidence based content from Order Optimizer. Secure internet communication keeps the platforms synchronized at all times. Prognosis also has licensed the Order Optimizer merging engine, giving ChartAccess users the ability to rapidly create merged evidence based order sets for multiple diagnoses at the point of care.
“Order Optimizer allows us to provide clients evidence based protocols and orders without imposing the heavy authoring and maintenance burden traditional content vendors place on hospitals,” states Prognosis CEO Ramsey Evans. “With Order Optimizer’s merging engine and content, clients can enjoy the unparalleled user experience and deployment flexibility of ChartAccess and know that their HITECH ACT needs are met.”
“ChartAccess is without question the most user-friendly EHR on the market today, and is also the most rapidly deployed,” says Order Optimizer President Robert Weathersby. “The Prognosis-Order Optimizer partnership is a concrete demonstration of how progressive technologies and unwavering focus on provider productivity can address the challenges posed by HITECH ACT compliance, MS adoption, and patient safety. And, with Order Optimizer’s ARRA CPOE certification and ChartAccess’s inpatient EMR CCHIT certification, our customers are assured that their anticipated Stimulus dollars are within reach.”
