Skytap Now Available Through Google Apps Marketplace
SEATTLE, WASH. – March 9, 2010 – Skytap Inc., today announced it has added the Skytap Cloud™ to the Google Apps Marketplace™, Google’s recently launched online storefront for Google Apps™ products and services. Skytap enables organizations to deploy enterprise applications unchanged in the cloud and collaborate securely with global teams. Through this integration, Google Apps customers or any user with a Google Account can use their existing Google credentials as a single sign-on mechanism, and access their Skytap Cloud environments within the context of Google Apps.

By using Skytap and Google Apps together, a sales engineer can instantly toggle between an enterprise application demo running in the Skytap Cloud to a Google Calendar application that contains necessary information to complete a task. Application developers and testers can move enterprise resource (ERP) applications to the Skytap Cloud without any code changes, migrate to a newer version, create application snapshots, maintain project milestones in Google Calendar™ and multi-task between Skytap and Google Docs™ to de-bug, track, take notes and collaborate with business analysts. Training Managers can use Google Apps to create a learning portal and provide access to a Skytap Cloud training environment for enterprise applications, while shifting between applications like Google Calendar which can be used for scheduling.
