VersionOne Introduces New Executive Team
ATLANTA, GA – VersionOne, the # 1 Agile project management software provider, is pleased to announce the expansion of its executive team to include Vice Presidents of Sales, Marketing and Operations to support the company’s record growth. Joining the company are three strategic leaders each with long track records of success in their respective disciplines: Richard Fuller, Vice President, Sales; Denise Grey, Vice President, Marketing; and David Funderburke, Vice President, Operations.
A strong sales leader with over 25 years in the software industry, Richard Fuller recently joined VersionOne from Computer Associates (CA) where he served as Vice President, Inside Sales for Enterprise Products. At CA, Fuller grew the inside sales organization from fewer than 10 to nearly 200 while managing all aspects of the business and consistently exceeding revenue, margin, and profitability targets. Previously Fuller held Sales, Pre-Sales, and Sales Management positions at industry heavyweights such as Oracle Corporation, TenFold and ParcPlace after beginning his career in IT development and project management at GEAC (formerly MSA).
With many successful years in the roles of Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Marketing as well as Sales and Business Development for high-tech, high-growth companies, Denise Grey has joined VersionOne in the role of Vice President of Marketing. Grey’s prior experience includes nearly 14 years with AT&T where she launched and managed the $3 billion business Internet product portfolio; Interland, where she crafted and led the execution of the strategic marketing plan targeting the emerging $12 billion Online Business Services market; and software vendor Verso Technologies, where she developed and executed the go-to-market strategy for entrance into the $4 billion VoIP and content filtering software markets.
David Funderburke comes to VersionOne with more than 25 years experience planning and building successful start-up organizations as well as managing large-scale ongoing business operations. As a past CFO, COO, President and Vice President of various software development, technology consulting, and professional services firms including Arthur Anderson, Clarus Corp, SBC Systems, and Trammell Crow, Funderburke has a proven track record in quickly achieving positive results in top line revenues, bottom line profits, and efficient business operations.

Along with expanding the senior leadership team, VersionOne also announces the company’s move to new offices in order to accommodate the rapidly-growing workforce which tripled last year as company revenue grew more than 100%. Similarly, the customer base at VersionOne also saw significant growth in 2007, increasing the number of VersionOne customers by more than 100% and total user licenses by 70%.
