Acronis “Backs Up” MSPs

Woburn, Mass., March 21, 2011 Acronis, a leading provider of easy to use backup and recovery solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments, today launched a new program targeting Managed Services Providers (MSPs).

Responding to the strong demand from its partner community, the Acronis MSP Program offers a monthly subscription-based licensing model for MSPs who would like to provide the award-winning Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ 10 products as part of managed services to their customers.

The program is designed with a low entry cost and flexibility in licensing so partners can get up and going quickly and benefit from recurring, predictable revenue which grows as their business scales. Partners have the ability to easily move licenses between customers as well as obtain discounts for both license volume and length of commitment.

“We’re glad to see Acronis make this program available to the MSP market,” said Joel Ray, president LANstar, Inc.  “Acronis’ new MSP offering makes it easier for us to offer proven backup and recovery solutions to our customers with a business model that is really attractive to us.  Using this new program, we can build an appealing offer – a solid Acronis software-based backup and recovery solution that also helps to reduce storage costs for our customers.”

Izzy Azeri, senior vice president & general manager, Americas, at Acronis said, “One of Acronis’ goals is to provide our channel partners with the right tools to help them grow.  This is the reason we developed this program for MSPs looking for robust backup and recovery solutions. We look forward to expanding our channel ecosystem and allowing new partners to take advantage of the MSP program.”
