Animoto: An Innovative Video Option
During some recent research, I rediscovered a company that caught my eye years ago called Animoto. When I originally checked out their website, I was very impressed. This company creates custom videos from pictures, video footage, text, and even lets you upload your own music. Since I have two CD’s on iTunes as a songwriter, and an upcoming third CD being released in the next few weeks, I thought it would be interesting to make a promotional video using Animoto. If you don’t have any background music that you feel comfortable with, they also have a catalog of sound clips you can use to serve as a soundtrack to your video. It’s very easy to use, and they create it for you, and even have a remix feature that tweaks the original idea they came up with. You can also order copies of your new video on DVD, share it on social networks, and send it via email. Another really cool feature Animoto offers is the option to select professional quality stock video footage from their library to incorporate into your video.
