Another Search Optimizer with Venture Capital Financing

On March 16th, California based Brigth Edge announced that it raised $6.5 million in a Series B round of venture capital investment. VentureDeal.com provided the information in their venture investment reports. The venture funding was led by Battery Ventures with participation of Altos Ventures. BrightEdge provides search engine optimization (SEO) management platform. The company will use the venture capital financing to enhance and expand the product and development for its growing customer base. The company press release also informed that the investment will support the effort to ramp up the marketing and sales initiatives in 2010.
