Corporate Intranet for Venture Capital Companies

October 21, 2009

A corporate intranet is a great way to allow employees to interact with other employees and make the venture capital firm organization more efficient.

High performing venture capital firms with a focus on expansion stage companies should all think about using corporate intranets. The intranet can be used as:

  • Central repository for financial and business policies, forms, templates, and compliance checks
  • Repository & delivery mechanism for training materials
  • Centralized resource for Human Resources materials (W-4, health care enrollment forms, dental care claim forms, etc)
  • Central location for urgent firm notifications, important growth equity articles, etc.
  • FAQ’s such as how to sign into email remotely, how to set up virus protection on your computer or laptop, etc.

I would highly recommend setting up your own corporate intranet; the benefits are worth it.
