You have to know when to get out of the way of others so you don’t become an impediment to productivity. And secondly, you have to know when to stop mucking around. Of course, the founder of Craigslist used a similar sounding expletive to explain his thoughts, but just the same, his point was made.
When it comes to employee development, knowing when you’re helping the company and offering operational support is important. Because that may not always be the case.
