How Often Should You Release Case Studies?

October 15, 2010

The right time to build an outbound prospecting program

This is a part of a series that was created to help you create case studies for your company. This series will walk through the process, necessary roles, in addition to guides for each role to help your company get started quickly.

One of the most important aspects of content distribution is making sure that it is consistent. Depending on your budget, number of target segments, and number of relevant topics, you could end up releasing one case study per month, one per quarter, or one per year. In any case, keep the frequency consistent so that people know when to expect your fresh content.

As the project owner, the release dates are up to you and your management team. To keep the project organized and focused, you should have some sort of content calendar that shows when the case studies will be released to the public. Not only will this calendar help keep you organized and focused, it will also keep everyone else who is involved (writer, designer, sales team, etc.) in the loop and prepared for your assignments/deliverables.
