This is usually the time that companies and finance teams everywhere are hunkered down trying to close out the calendar year. For those finance teams that are working through the holidays, the next few weeks are often a great time to focus on wrapping up those last open projects of 2009, making sure that plans and goals are set for 2010, and preparing systems and reporting for a fresh start in 2010.
