Hunch: Caterina Fake Makes Her Decision

March 24, 2010

A consumer web application called Hunch has just closed a Series B of venture capital financing in the amount of $12M. CEO, Caterina Fake, was also an executive at Yahoo after her previous startup, Flickr, was acquired. Hunch is an application that gets to know you by asking you a series of questions. Once you ask it a question, it makes recommendations for you based on your answers.  What city should I live in? What kind of dog should I adopt? Should my company be looking for investors? What are some of the best business growth strategies? Just ask Hunch!

Fake has seen a lot of success over the years, and having been a part of Flickr, Yahoo, and now Hunch, it’s inevitable that her experience and expertise will lead this company to glory. I read an interview with Fake, and found it to be very inspiring. Click here to check out in-depth interview with Caterina Fake and Michael Arrington from TechCrunch.
