MATRIXX Software Received $9 million in Venture Capital Financing

On March 11th, California based MATRIXX Software announced that it raised $9 million in a Series B round of venture capital investment. The venture funding was provided by Greylock Partners and Tugboat Ventures. MATRIXX Software is a leading provider of online charging and policy management solutions. The company has developed several patent-pending technologies that will deliver greater processing speed and cost savings to customers employing rating and charging solutions. According to the company’s press release, the expectation is that the company will use the expansion capital to competitively position itself for optimal impact on the market of providers that intend to use the boom in mobile data traffic to launch next generation services and business models.
