More 3-D Craze!

Nintendo just announced today they will be unveiling a 3-D portable gaming device that works without the need for glasses. Details can be found at the following Wall Street Journal article. Nintendo’s competitive positioning here helps continue its dominance of the DS in the portable gaming marketplace.

Sony is also pushing its product and development strategy through a firmware upgrade later this year that will look to support 3-D gaming on support TV’s.

Very curious to see how console gaming in 2010 will play out with 3-D helping to spark the industry.
