So, a few weeks ago I gave a list of the next set of potential gadgets I would buy. On the top of the list was the iTablet, now referred to as the iPad. Looks like Apple has spent a lot of time on the product and development. Given the specs that have been released, the following are the reasons why I plan to buy one:

1. Content galore on the go. Not only does it satisfy my e-reader needs, but it also will serve as an amazing device for watching movies, listening to music and playing games when I am traveling to provide operational support to any of my portfolio companies for board meetings.

2. Better couch potato web surfing. The iPad looks to be an incredible device to surf the net while watching TV (not to mention it will be a killer remote for my Apple TV).

3. Great note taker during meetings. The device looks like it could be a great replacement for my notepad during meetings.

4. It just looks cool. It just looks like a cool device to pull out and impress your friends.

Looking forward to grabbing one when it comes out in a couple months! Curious to see what the device does to the kindle market.
