SparkBase: A Successful SaaS Gateway

Sparkbase is one of the technology leaders for the processing of gift and loyalty card transactions. This company has had consistent growth of more than 150% annually according to their website, and their CEO Doug Hardman, had some inspiring thoughts to share in an interview I read recently. They have raised a small Series A round of venture funding, and have obviously put that money in the right places.

This software as a service platform removes the middleman and allows its customers to add and mange their merchants, as well as process gift card and loyalty/rewards transactions. In an article I also read, Hardman says, “Figure out what it is you’re good at, do it better than anyone else and resist temptation to divert from that.” A simple statement that is full of wisdom. I’m sure this company will continue to do well.
