The Competitive Advantage Matters

I recently read a book that I found to be very insightful. The book I’m referencing is titled, Creating Competitive Advantage, by Jaynie L. Smith. Jaynie is the president of Smart Advantage, Inc., a consultancy firm that helps companies seek out the right approach to reveal their competitive advantage, and improve their leverage when it comes to sales and marketing. I’d highly recommend this book for companies searching for ways to make their product or service more appealing than their competitors. Many companies that have reached the expansion stage find themselves challenged by competitive positioning. If your company offers a product or service that needs to find a unique approach, and identify the best practices process, I would digest the info in this book and try opening the scope of your approach when moving forward.
