No other skill is more important in business management than leadership.
CEOs are only effective when they possess it. But the question that is often asked about leadership remains. Are leaders born or can they be taught? For the companies that heavily stress employee development as part of a best practices process, the latter is a common belief.
From an operational management standpoint, leadership indispensable. When it comes to MBA programs, the same is true. Leadership is preached and mandated. Is it delivered to every student, every time? Sadly, the answer is no.
