A lot, depending on your company. Some industries require a lot of a name — it has to be memorable; it has to standout. In this video, CEO of Lunch Money Ari Mir says that the naming process for a company can be broken down into a six-point checklist.
Mir says that keeping the name short is “extremely important.” To have a catchy aspect to it, the company name can’t be too long. He also suggests using some writing function, including alliteration. This can help in making the name stand out.
