How AtTask is Reshaping the Industry, Part 3

August 16, 2010

During a conference, leaders from AtTask gathered on-stage to present their social team management software, Stream. Through role playing, the team introduced the software and its benefits. The stream software itself is reminiscent, on purpose, of Facebook. The interface is smooth and streamlined. Essentially, what Stream allows a company to do is monitor its employees and their work, allowing them to coordinate future projects and teams.

Being able to track each employee’s progress and undertakings can be crucial to maximizing productivity. For this reason, Stream is a handy program.

A key component of Stream is its ability to allow the users to monitor each other’s work. For instance, in the example used in the video, a large-scale assignment is passed from a product manager to a team leader. The product manager understands that the team leader has a firm grasp on the skills of his team and is better-suited to accomplish the goals of the product manager, in this instance. And that is how tasks are divided up and accomplished using AtTask’s Stream software.
