What’s the leading problem with finding the best guidelines to form your own lean development changeover? Simple: the usual guidelines are often ill-fitting.

You’ll hear the same repetitious advice. But if it was that easy, everybody would be developing in a lean environment. David Paulson of Accuer believes that lean changeovers need to be adapted to their new environments.

Every company that attempts to go lean should do so gradually, adds Paulson. However, be forewarned: incremental changes will beget incremental results, whereas entire paradigm shifts will net you changes on a larger scale.
