Twitter Stats: A Usage Graph Instead of Thousand Words

Twitter is one of the most widely used social networking websites on the Internet. It has around 75 million users that tweet for different reasons. What was initially meant to help friends update each other on their status, has become one of the most widely used tools for promotion of news, trends, products, people. Onlineschools.org has this great graph that shows what the Twitter population really consists of, and what they tweet. It is interesting that the majority of the users are women – 55%. Also, 5/75 seems to be the Twitter ration, meaning that 5% of the users create 75% of the tweets.
