Most women want to know how they will look with a different hair color, hair style, eye color, or even different make up without having to actually make the change. Thanks to the virtual makeover website Taaz.com, this is easy and fun. I would not have known about this website, had I not found my girlfriend glued to the laptop, mesmerized by the site’s powers. The San Diego based technology start-up Photometria, Inc. created this cool and entertaining website for all the women to enjoy, experiment, shop, or just kill some (a loooot of) time.
The extremely user-friendly interface of Taaz.com allows you to easily upload your headshot and then let your imagination run wild with the hundreds of different colors and shades of lipstick, eye show, foundation, and other types of makeup that I cannot name. Girls can also check if Jennifer Aniston’s hairstyle is for them, if green contacts will make them look sexier, and even if teeth whitening is something they should consider. While switching between the different shades and types of makeup and accessories, the website will show their brand, price, and link to the online vendors that offer them.
Taaz.com is very well made and Photometria has done a great job so the picture editing effects look very real, unlike a lot of virtual makeover websites out there. However, beware that if you are a guy and you upload your picture to mess around with it, you may end up with a headshot of a member of a Love Parade float.
