Marketers seek out untapped opportunities as a byproduct of their daily work.
At a MarketingProfs B2B forum in Boston, some choice speakers and event attendees were asked one very important question: “What do you see as the number one untapped marketing opportunity for business to business marketers today?” Their answers were diverse, but they were all focused on the idea that untapped opportunities are in the crosshairs of all marketers.
Integrating social media with traditional marketing was one of the biggest trends in the answers. Content was also something that was described as having latent potential. This pertains to podcasts, videos, whitepapers and everything in between. ROI was also discussed heavily, and its importance is plainly evident in the greater picture. Boosting relationships, too, was something that was fueling many of the marketers.
Ultimately, creating the right environment to take advantage of all of these opportunities is what will set companies apart.
