Inbound marketing offers improvements in lead generation by reducing the cost of each lead and creating a more closing-friendly sales environment, says Mike Volpe and Mark Roberge of HubSpot. In this short video, the two discuss the importance of inbound marketing in lead generation and sales.

In general, inbound marketing pushes each lead further into the funnel, making it an attractive alternative over outdated options, they say. The need for a new paradigm has largely been created by buyers themselves; they’re no longer going through the same buying process.
