One of the greatest challenges a business faces involves generating revenue on a steady stream.
While some may be enough, more is always better. This adage rings true when it comes to business. Even more important than large amounts of revenue, however, is a consistent revenue stream. Part of figuring out how to establish a steady flow of revenue involves tracking your company’s happenings. This includes the sales process, marketing strategy and company strategy. Everything should be tracked.
As Marketo, a marketing automation company, has shown, another important step is the elimination of unnecessary and wasteful steps in the sales process. It’s equally important to establish a baseline and to follow what does work. As they say, “If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.”
