As we all know, marketing videos can tend to be inconsistent to say the least.

Some achieve viral status and transcend their original intention even, which was to promote the product. They get digested by the masses and become more of a form of entertainment than a cog in a marketing strategy. But going viral, despite what some say, isn’t easy. For the businesses that are stuck diligently implementing their content marketing strategy in order to achieve success through their videos, there is something to be gained from other companies’ videos.

As an example, look to the “Will it Blend?” series, where strange items like an iPhone get blended inside a three-horsepower blender. They have their product and development already done – they’re just promoting their product at this point. And the idea that a blender can garner millions of YouTube views is amazing. The series simply showcases the potential of a thoughtful video series.
