Like many other Olympic athletes, record-setter Usain Bolt was relatively unknown until he took down one of the most respected records in track and field. A day shy of his 22nd birthday, Bolt broke Michael Johnson’s 12-year-old 200-meter record by finishing with a time of 19.30. He would claim another world record in the 4×100 relay later in the Games.

Entrepreneur Lesson: When you believe in yourself and your business, you become an unstoppable force. You can’t compete at the highest levels without inner-confidence. And when you do get a taste of success, don’t rest on your laurels – go break more records.
