PLG 123: Facebook Comes at Zoom’s Market

Well, it’s Friday and this is a thing:

🎨 Figma raises $50M @ $2B valuation.
📝 Notion raises $50M @ $2B valuation.
📊 Airtable raises $50M @ $2B valuation (or more).

The first thought that occurs to me is the strange consistency in numbers. Is it “great minds think alike” or “keeping up with the Joneses”?

The second thought that occurs to me is that it pays to be product-led.

In a time when most startups are refactoring, retrenching, and reducing…these PLG leaders are naming their price with the world’s best investors. 👀

In other news, I learn for the first time that 33% of Atlassian’s revenue comes from old school perpetual license + maintenance. And Facebook is the newest challenger to Zoom Video Communications.

Check out this week’s PLG 123 for all the latest in product led growth news!
