The Most Important Realizations in Inside Sales

What’s Your Eureka Moment?

After attending the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals Leadership Summit recently,Trish Bertuzzi was inspired by the experience. The event was attended by a diverse group of companies; from large corporations such as Oracle and Apple, to startups and expansion stage businesses, a range of players in the industry were represented.

While at the summit, the author videotaped a handful of the 250 people in attendance, asking them all the same question: What is your ah-ha moment for inside sales in 2010? Although she admitted to having little experience in front of a camera, the resulting video provided plenty of inside sales insights.

For those in the video, ah-ha moments ranged from realizing the importance of social media in everyday business, to finding the value of being consultative while communicating with customers. The realizations were varied, but each of them, in their own way, was valuable to inside sales professionals.
